Ane Marie Madsen was born on September 1, 1842, Fakse, Præstø, Danmark. She was christened on November 13, 1842. Her parents were Ane Svensdatter and Mads Neilsen. I am not sure due to handwriting but it appears that one of her godparents was a Jens Pedersen.
Hans Pedersen was born on October 11, 1827, Tureby, Præstø, Denmark. He was christened October 14, 1827. His parents were Dorothe Hansdatter and Peder Hansen. The handwriting on the old christening record is very spidery but it appears as if one of the godparents was a Hans Neilsen.
Ane and Hans were married on June 29, 1860, Fakse, Præstø, Danmark. Witnesses were his brother Frederik Pedersen and her father Mads Neilsen.

Based on the June 4, 1885 Nebraska State Census Bazile, Antelope County, Nebraska:
Hans and Ane Peterson and children Peter, Kirstine, Sophie, Neils and Inger lived on the property adjacent to Hans’ brother Frederik
(spelled Frederick in the census) Peterson and his family.
Hans' brother Frederik Pedersen was born March 2, 1830, Tureby, Præstø, Danmark to Peder Hansen and Dorothe Hansdatter. Frederik was christened 13 June 1830.
Frederik married Maren Katherine Madsen December 29, 1856, Fakse, Præstø, Danmark. Maren was born January 14, 1836, Fakse, Præstø, Danmark to Mads Nielsen and Ane Svendsdatter (yes, brothers Hans and Frederik married sisters Ane and Maren). Maren was christened February 21, 1836.
Frederik and Maren had at least two children: Neils Pedersen was born October 26, 1860, and christened December 2, 1860, Fakse, Præstø, Danmark. Inger Marie Pedersen was born June 10, 1865, and christened July 23, 1865, Fakse, Præstø, Danmark. It appears Hans Pedersen was one of her godparents.
Hans died November 25, 1922, in Plainview, Nebraska. He was buried in Bethel Lutheran Danish Cemetery in Brunswick, Nebraska.
Ane died July 31, 1927, at home the of her daughter Ane Kirstine Bergh, Antelope County, Nebraska. She is also buried in Bethel Lutheran Danish Cemetery in Brunswick, Nebraska.

Note: in the early 1800's and before, a male child's "last name" was typically his father's "first name" with "sen" (Dansk for "son") added on. So the sons of someone named Peder, for example, would typically have the last name Pedersen. A female child's "last name" was typically her father's first name with "datter" (Dansk for "daughter") added on. So daughters of someone named Peder, for example would typically have the last name Petersdatter. As you can see with Ane Marie Madsen, the naming convention was changing and she was given the last name Madsen (not Madsdatter), and Hans and Ane used the new convention for their daughters, all named Pedersen.
Note: Sophie, her siblings, and her parents (or at least her father) were clearly named Pedersen in Danmark. It is not clear yet how the name morphed to Peterson, however it appears it may have changed to Petersen upon arrival, then to Peterson shortly thereafter.
