Jean's parents are Wilmer DeLaVergne (WD) McGrath, M.D., and Gladys Diller McGrath. Gladys died in 1937, and all of WD's grandchildren knew his second wife, Martha Zeleski as "Grandma McGrath".
Jean had a younger brother, Charles Dean (Dean) McGrath, M.D., and a younger sister, Betty Ann (or Bet) McGrath.
Jean and Vic were married September 3, 1949, in St. Philomena's Church, Denver, Colorado. They have three sons: Richard Dean Frost David Paul Frost and Michael John Frost.
