Born April 16, 1872 in Glencoe, Nebraska to Henry Sturbaum and Mary Elizabeth Wilpers.
Married to Johann Herrmann Joseph Schulte, on June 2, 1896, in Monterey, Nebraska (8 miles North of Dodge).

The following information was provided by Ken Schulte.
Mary was born in Glencoe, which is in the Olean's area 8 miles South West of Snyder, Nebraska. Her parents lived in a sod hut at the time. [This was not uncommon during the Homestead years, and these people were called Sodbusters.]
Joseph and Mary moved to Brunswick, Nebraska in 1919.
They had three children die in infancy: Paul, John, and Mary. They are buried in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in the Olean's area.
